Stonebreakers Laundry

BPEC’s Mally Butters and George Thomson flew out to Nicaragua in April 2014 to build a laundry facility to improve the lives of Alba and her family who have to break stones to earn a living. The trip saw the guys, accompanied by Richard Geary of the Peace and Hope Trust, build a life saving laundry facility for the community. Previously, young girls were at risk of being raped and attacked when they had to walk miles to the nearest lake.
