Assessment Information | This is a nationally recognised qualification in the installation and maintenance of heat pump systems. The qualification is developed from the National Occupational Standards and is recognised by the Micro-generation Certification Scheme (MCS) registration bodies as an acceptable qualification to join one of their respective schemes | ||||||

Pre-requisites | Trainees should have a minimum NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in plumbing or conventional heating engineering, or a demonstrable number of years of relevant experience, plus Water Regulations/Byelaws and Energy Efficiency certificates. | ||||||
Further Information | Assessments consist of a combination of practical and theory examinations. | ||||||
