Funded by the Welsh Government with the support of the European Social Fund and run by a dedicated network of colleges, work-based learning providers and employer-led organisations, Skills Competition Wales are free to enter and typically run throughout March and April of each year. Competitions offer students, trainees and apprentices in Wales a chance to challenge, benchmark and raise their skills. They help to prepare people to further their level of skills and enter WorldSkills UK competitions. These competitions aim to encourage young people and adults across the UK to excel in their vocational skill area.
