The SkillPLUMB competition sees talented young plumbers test their expertise on a series of challenging practical tests in a bid to be named the SkillPLUMB UK champion. Registration for SkillPLUMB 2020 opens on 2 March and closes on 2 April. Throughout April, May and June a number of regional events are held across the UK and those who score most highly will progress to a grand final held in November at the prestigious WorldSkills UK LIVE – the UK’s largest skills and careers show which attracts over 70,000 visitors.
Jamie Fisher, Monument Tools Sales Director, commented “It is our pleasure to support such a well organised series of events that highlight the very best new talent in the plumbing industry! Monument Tools have a history of supporting Apprentices right back to the start of our business as a Tool Merchant in the City of London back in 1880, and we are proud to be continuing this tradition.”
“We’re extremely happy to welcome Monument Tools as our lead SkillPLUMB sponsor” added Neil Collishaw, BPEC Chief Executive Officer. “Monument have been supporting the competition for many years and we would like to thank them for everything they have done during this time.
