SkillPLUMB 2018 finalists announced

Following a series of challenging regional heats throughout the year, the 8 competitors who will compete in the 2018 SkillPLUMB UK National Final have been named.

All 8 will now go head-to-head in a three-day practical task between 15th and 17th November at World Skills UK Live, the UK’s largest skills, apprenticeships and careers event, at the NEC Birmingham.

The finalists, listed with their training providers, are:

• Alexander Clouston – Inverness College UHI
• Matthew Davidson – Moray College UHI
• Leonard Keown – South West College
• James McCall Smith – Tullos Training
• Millan Macdonald – Dundee and Angus College
• Kyle McGeoghie – Perth College UHI
• Thomas Moys – Petroc College
• Shane Murray – Southern Regional College
