Prior Notice: Water Regulations (England and Wales) and Water Byelaws (Scotland and NI)

We’re working on updating the above learning materials. The industry has agreed upon a new set of Learning Outcomes which will come into effect on 1st April 2023. BPEC intends to have a combined course that will be approved by WIAPS/TAPS/APLUS/Watermark/Scottish Water/NI Water (submission/approval pending).

How this affects centres:

• The existing courses will cease to be recognised after 31^st March 2023. Therefore, any claims after that date will not be certified and will not be accepted by the Water Undertaker’s approved contractor schemes.
• Centres should ensure any delivery on or after 1^st April 2023 is to the new version.
• Centres are advised to plan their delivery accordingly – please do not deliver the current versions unless they can be completed by 31st March 2023.

Centres will be notified as soon as the new materials/courses have been approved.
