BPEC appoint Technical Business Support Managers

We are delighted to announce that Paul Wilson (pictured on the right) and Jonathan Bexon (left) have joined the BPEC team as Technical Business Support Managers. Within this role, they will both be offering technical support across development and operations within the business.

Paul began his plumbing career at the age of 16 after leaving school and starting as an apprentice with a local plumbing company in his home town of Chesterfield. He attended Chesterfield College for four years where he gained his Level 3 NVQ in Mechanical Engineering Services (Plumbing – Domestic Gas Option). Paul has achieved over 16 years in the plumbing industry to date.

In 2013, Paul decided to move into Further Education, and started as a Plumbing Lecturer at Chesterfield College. During his time there Paul successfully gained his teaching, assessing and verification qualifications whilst also becoming Career Pathway Leader for Plumbing. He spent just over 5 years at Chesterfield College before deciding to take up the position of Technical Business Support Manager with BPEC.

Paul still lives in Chesterfield, and in his spare time plays football for a local team, goes to the gym and is a season ticket holder at Derby County.

Jonathan has been in the Plumbing and Gas industry since 1992. Jonathan completed his NVQ2 and NVQ3 at Wilmorton College in Derby before working for a number of large companies as a plumber/gas engineer.

In 2003 Jonathan decided to move into Further Education, starting his teaching career at Stephenson College in Coalville as a lecturer. Jonathan remained at Stephenson College for 16 years, working in a number of roles as a lecturer, trainer, assessor, internal verifier and manager, and worked in both the plumbing and gas departments within the college.

Jonathan lives in Leicestershire, and is married with four children. Outside of work, Jonathan’s interests are mountain biking, fishing and camping.

Welcome to BPEC Paul and Jonathan!
