| Assessment Information | These nationally recognised qualifications are designed for new entrants to the plumbing and heating industry.
The Level 1 Plumbing Foundation involves knowledge and practical assessments that develop core skills and understanding. It provides a progression route to the Level 2 Plumbing Foundation or supports progression towards the Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing and Domestic Heating as part of the Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician Apprenticeship.
The Level 2 Plumbing Foundation builds on this foundation through further knowledge and practical assessments. It provides a progression route to the Level 3 Plumbing Foundation or supports progression towards the Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing and Domestic Heating as part of the Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician Apprenticeship.
The Level 3 Plumbing Foundation further develops knowledge and practical competence through centre-based assessment. It supports progression to the Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing and Domestic Heating as part of the Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician Apprenticeship, or into higher education.
