BPEC Supports Warriors of Warmth: Charity in Action

On Saturday 12 July, BPEC proudly supported Warriors of Warmth a Nottingham-based initiative tackling fuel poverty by providing free plumbing and heating services to those in need.

Warriors of Warmth, founded by heating engineer Jonathon Hallam, brings together volunteer engineers and apprentices to carry out vital repairs and installations for charities, shelters, and community spaces. Their latest project focused on a Nottingham centre offering food bank services and a safe haven for vulnerable individuals and families.

As part of BPEC’s ongoing commitment to raising standards and supporting skills development, we donated 10 training manuals to the apprentice volunteers involved in the project. David Lowe attended on behalf of BPEC to meet the team, offer encouragement, and present the resources in person.

Neil Collishaw, CEO of BPEC, said:

“It’s our charitable activity that makes BPEC truly unique. Through the BPEC Charity, we’re able to give back to the industry and to the communities it serves. Supporting Warriors of Warmth is a shining example of what makes me so proud to lead this organisation.”

The BPEC Charity exists to raise the knowledge and skills of those working in the UK plumbing and heating industry, while helping people in need. This collaboration with Warriors of Warmth is a perfect example of how our values come to life, by supporting both the next generation of tradespeople and the communities they serve.
