A Christmas message from Neil Collishaw – CEO

On behalf of the whole BPEC team, I’d like to thank all our customers and partners for their continued support throughout the year.

2025 has been another year of progress for BPEC. We’ve strengthened our position as a trusted partner in skills, training, and assessment across the Building Services Engineering sector, while remaining true to our not-for-profit values and charitable purpose.

Highlights of the year include:

• Opening our new FESS assessment centre, marking an exciting new chapter for BPEC and supporting the continued growth of our Fire, Emergency and Security Systems provision.
• Several Train the Trainer courses have been delivered already, and we look forward to seeing more visitors and familiar faces around the building.
• SkillPLUMB success, with exceptional performances at this year’s national finals and continued achievements by former competitors on the international stage, a real showcase of UK talent.
• Charitable impact through our continued support for Aquabox, the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, and Toilet Twinning, all improving lives through access to clean water, sanitation, and wellbeing support.

Your ongoing custom makes this possible. As a not-for-profit organisation, every BPEC qualification and assessment delivered helps fund these charitable initiatives, improving lives both within and beyond our industry. Thank you!

We’ve also continued to expand our provision, strengthen partnerships, and enhance the customer experience — all thanks to the dedication of our team and network of approved centres.

We are excited about seeing more people here at BPEC, we anticipate there will be a real buzz around the office next year; as we look ahead to 2026, our focus remains clear: to lead by example, support our customers, and continue promoting excellence and opportunity within our industry.
