How can Anil help?

Anil is a Technical Manager and supports the Awarding and End-point Assessment Organisations. On technical or compliance issues, Anil will support you with anything related to qualifications or end-point assessment along with Sam Clarke, Garry Glover, Dean Watson and Andrew Blackburn.

Experience

Anil has extensive experience within the plumbing, heating, and gas industry, having spent a substantial number of years working across the sector.

In 2012, Anil moved into Further Education where he progressed through several roles, starting as a Trainer Assessor before moving into Lecturer and then Programme Lead positions. In these roles, Anil was responsible for managing and delivering plumbing, and heating programmes. This included leading teaching teams, monitoring learner performance, and ensuring all programmes met Awarding Organisation and regulatory requirements.

During his time in Further Education, Anil achieved his Assessor and Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualifications, alongside a Certificate in Teaching. Anil has substantial experience working with several Awarding Organisations, developing, delivering, assessing and quality assuring regulated qualifications.

BPEC Journey

Anil joined BPEC in March 2026 as Technical Manager for the Awarding and End Point Assessment Organisations. His passion for quality education, combined with experience working with awarding organisations, led him into the role. Prior to joining BPEC, Anil was an active BPEC customer, delivering and assessing BPEC qualifications within Further Education.

Interests

Anil greatly enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two daughters and extended family, he values the importance of family life. He is keen on keeping fit and active and regularly enjoys playing both cricket and football. Outside of sport, Anil also enjoys listening to music and values time to relax and unwind.
