The latest stop of BPEC’s customer service tour saw Chief Executive Officer, Neil Collishaw and Business Development Manager, Angela Gask visit Elements Training & Assessment, a leading private training provider in Stourbridge.

Elements has been a loyal and trusted BPEC client since it was set up by Matt Stonehouse in 2017, offering some of the best Gas, Plumbing and Heating engineer training and assessment available in the Midlands. Over the last 5 years the business has flourished, gaining high profile clients such as British Gas and E.ON, and expanded to such an extent that it outgrew its original training centre space and had to acquire additional premises in July 2021.

Delivering quality is a shared value for both organisations – for Elements Training in the delivery of training and assessments to its customers and for BPEC the delivery of quality service and support to its centres.

“Elements is an important customer, so it was great to visit the centre in BPEC’s 30th anniversary year to see how much the business has grown in just 5 years of operation,” said Neil. “I’m proud of our long-standing working relationship with Matt and his team, and what is particularly pleasing is they share BPEC’s principles of honesty, integrity, never compromising on quality, and building trusted relationships with their customers and stakeholders.”

Matt believes in keeping his skills up to date and a typical day can see him on-site sorting plumbing or heating jobs, and mentoring apprentices, as well as coordinating training and assessments at the Stourbridge centre. He is also a proud and passionate advocate of the industry and during their visit Neil and Angela had a chance to look at his collection of historic memorabilia, such as very early editions of heating and hot water textbooks.

“I’ve really enjoyed the visit. BPEC has worked with us from the very beginning, so we really value the relationship – and it was great to hear about its plans to support us even further,” Matt stated. “We share similar values with quality and trust being at the heart of everything we do as organisations, and I’m looking forward to an even more successful partnership in the future.”
