Smart Gas Training & Assessment wins Apprenticeship Provider of the Year 2023

Congratulations go to BPEC centre, Smart Gas Training & Assessment for winning Apprenticeship Provider of the Year at the Education Awards 2023.

Smart Gas Director, Patrick O’Sullivan said, “Since gaining BPEC approval in 2017, we have gone on to flourish and deliver a wide range of courses including the Level 3 Gas Engineering Apprenticeship. Working closely with BPEC, we’ve become the leading training centre to deliver the gas engineering apprenticeship in the Midlands and we have won Apprenticeship Provider of the Year at the Education Awards 2023. This award has capped off an incredible year for the centre which also saw us achieve an Ofsted Good rating.”

Patrick continues, “BPEC has always been supportive during the End-point Assessment process which is evident with our excellent achievement rate of 90% which is significantly higher than the national apprenticeship average of 52%. With BPEC liaising with efficiency and the upmost professionalism, we have been able to achieve our goals and provide the best possible service for our apprentices and private candidates alike.”

Based in Ashbourne in Derbyshire, Smart Gas Training provides nationally accredited learning materials and other services to students, employers and F.E. Colleges. Its programmes range from apprenticeships to additional training and re-assessment for professional gas engineers and plumbers who want to upgrade their qualifications.
