Trustees join Great BPEC Bake-Off

BPEC could not function effectively without our Directors/Trustees, who meet three times a year to direct and oversee our continued growth and guide the strategic direction of the organisation. The recent BPEC Annual General Meeting and Board Meeting on 4th July was scheduled to coincide with a social get-together and our ‘Great BPEC Bake-Off’ event.

“This special gathering brought together our staff and our Trustees, and was a great success,” says Neil Collishaw, Chief Executive Officer at BPEC. “It was a huge amount of fun – this is all about building connections and having a good time together.”

With the bake-off bringing out some extremely good-natured competitiveness among the team, congratulations go to Susannah Gill, BPEC’s Head of Finance & Business Services: our 2024 cooking champion.

Matt Skelding, Head of Operations and Development at BPEC, adds: “It was a busy week, including Board Meetings, the Trustees visiting water aid charity Aquabox, and the BPEC Bake Off – I didn’t even place in the competition which, given my delicious pancetta quiche, was a travesty. On a more serious note, massive thanks are due, as ever, to our volunteer Board and Trustees for all they do: our independent Chairman Duncan Wilson alongside Board members Michael Purnell, Duncan Sharp, Brian Warrender, Raymond Leslie, and Mark Antrobus.”
