Registration

Registrations for SkillPLUMB 2025 are open between 03 and 28 March. Before registering, here’s some important information to note:

  • Our Entry Stages and Guidance page gives advice on the competition process and also links to Pre-Competition Activity to check which candidates have the skills and knowledge needed for each stage.
  • The Events Schedule details all the national qualifying heat dates so you can review / select which heat you’d like to attend before registering.
  • On the Competition Journey page you’ll be able to see the full journey for those who progress beyond the entry stage.
  • Once you register and your competitors accepts the T&Cs, we’ll send information about the entry stage as soon as possible – please keep an eye out for this email and tell your competitors to do the same.

When registering your competitor:

  • On the WorldSkills UK website select the Plumbing competition – this is SkillPLUMB.
  • We’ll need to communicate directly with the competitor and within a tight timescale, so please use their personal email address, as a college email address is often unchecked / not seen.
  • Tell your competitor they’ll be receiving two important emails and speak to them to make sure they’ve received and acted on them:

1) After registering, the nominated candidate/s will receive an email from WorldSkills asking for them to complete additional details and accept the T&Cs of the competition. We cannot contact them with next steps until they have accepted these T&Cs, so please make sure they do this.

2) Once they have accepted the T&Cs we’ll contact them with information about the Entry Stage – make sure they are aware to look out for this.

  • It’s really important you and they check your Spam / Junk folders just in case any emails from WorldSkills or SkillPLUMB get routed into there.

Register on the WorldSkills UK website

To register for the competition you’ll need to go to the WorldSkills UK website and set up an account.

Once you have registered them, please check in with your candidate to ensure they have accepted the T&Cs as described above.
