“It took almost 6 hours to get to Bansang from the capital (Banjul). Some of the roads are nice and flat, but others take the term off road driving to the limit. Mark & I took it in turns to enjoy the ride in the back of the pick-up!”

The BPEC Charity awarded £9,100 to Shane Trevitt to fund the ‘Township plumber trainer programme’ in Johannesburg, South Africa. This project will deliver a series of water and sanitation upgrades and start to train local people living in the township basic plumbing and maintenance skills.

BPEC have now updated their Domestic Ventilation Installer manual to cover the Scottish Regulations. There is also a Scottish theory assessment which is now available via the Centre Login area of the BPEC website.
As part of BPEC’s commitment to quality training we will shortly be introducing a programme of External Verification visits to centres delivering non-QCF training and assessments which includes the Mapped Renewable Technologies.
